Sally Jo Zuspan, RN, MSN

Sally Jo Zuspan works as the Program
Manager & Research Specialist for the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied
Research Network (PECARN) at the Intermountain Injury Control Research
Center. PECARN is the first federally-funded multi-institutional network
for research in pediatric emergency medicine. She has a master’s degree
from the University of Cincinnati in Burn Trauma Nursing and a bachelor’s
degree in Nursing from Armstrong State College in Savannah, Georgia. She
has worked as a pediatric emergency nurse, pediatric clinical specialist
and trauma coordinator. She has also been involved in legislative
initiatives in trauma care and pediatrics in both Texas and Ohio. Her
research interests include trauma systems, pediatric emergency care, and
injury prevention.
