Michael Schnyder, NREMT-P

Mr. Schnyder has been involved in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) since 1988. Starting his career as a volunteer EMT, he has a diverse background in EMS. This includes being: a paramedic, firefighter, hazardous materials responder, and manager. Prior to coming to work at NEDARC, he worked at the State of Delaware Office of EMS for six years. His responsibilities included incident management, quality improvement, EMS data systems, and budgetary matters. He was the Project Manager for Delaware’s EMS Data Information Network (EDIN) system since its inception. He worked with providers, programmers, managers, and regulatory agencies to obtain the best system for Delaware. Mr. Schnyder also secured grant funding for the system. Prior to leaving his service with Delaware, Mr. Schnyder worked on a project to link a 911 Computer Aided Dispatch system to the EDIN system on a real time basis. Mr. Schnyder’s other interests include his family, hiking, photography, and snowboarding.
