Larry Cook, MStat

Mr. Cook has been with the
Intermountain Injury Control Research Center since 1996 and is the
director of the Utah CODES project. Mr. Cook has over half a decade of
probabilistic linkage experience and is very familiar with CODES 2000. He
is responsible for probabilistically linking databases to be used by Utah
CODES. His duties also include analyzing linked databases, filling data
requests and providing linked data support for the Department of Public
Safety. Currently Mr. Cook is an author on more than 15 peer-reviewed
publications and technical reports dealing with probabilistic linkage
methodology or using probabilistically linked databases. In addition, Mr.
Cook has used linked CODES data on many occasions to testify at the Utah
State Legislature on such topics as car seats, seatbelts, and teenage
drivers. In addition to these activities Mr. Cook provides technical
assistance to other states wishing to use probabilistic linkage.
