Gitte, Larsen, MD
Dr. Larsen is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where she joined the department in 2001. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency and pediatric critical care fellowship at Primary Children's Medical Center/University of Utah Program. Dr. Larsen received her MPH degree from Oregon Health Sciences University and University of Utah in 2002.
Dr. Larsen serves as the medical director of Life Flight Children's Transport Services, and is actively involved and/or directing numerous quality of care projects at Primary Children's Medical Center and Intermountain Healthcare. She has published in the area of medication safety and adverse events in the pediatric ICU. Dr. Larsen is a full time clinical faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care.
